Freemason’s Lodge

The designer of the historical freemason’s lodge in Altenburg was master-builder Heinrich Wilhelm Schmidt. The classical one-floor building was built between 1802 and 1804. Over the years, the Lodge has acquired a garden, where vegetables and fruits are grown. Today the Lodge even has a ninepin bowling alley.
